A Community Overview

What exactly is a community?

Most people view a community as the place or an area where they live and work. However, they forget that a community is usually more than this description. A community is where groups of people unite together, which has a clear cut system and structure. All of the people with its system and structure are interrelated. It is not just the geographical limitation that a community is defined. The very essence of a community is the relationships that lie within it.

Each person living within a community has their own different role just as you do. What one person does within a community has the capacity to affect the entire structure. A community refers to a group of people, town, city or even the whole nation but its very essence is the same.

A community may mean social groupings in your local neighborhood or international community that has one common purpose and it is to unite all the people involved in the group.

A group of friends is considered a community as well. And, most people often forget what friendship really means.
