Laughter is Still the Best Medicine

Have you ever heard a joke that made you laugh out loud and roll over the floor from laughter? What was it about? Was it about a physician, lawyer, nurse or barber? Where did you hear it? Was it in your school, in a TV show or in a stand-up comedy routine?

More often than not, you don’t even remember the time that you heard it and you won’t even be able to relay the exact joke to me. It would have changed the course of your day. However, no matter where you are, it is still a reality that jokes can definitely relieve you from stress especially the times when you really had a good laugh.

Most people crack jokes or find something that can take their minds off the serious matters they face. It can change an atmosphere that is dull and boring in an instant.

Indeed, laughter is still the best medicine that can give you relief from various diseases, whether physical or not. Many clinical researches are geared towards knowing about the many benefits that laughing can provide. And, most of the results of the studies demonstrate that laughing can influence our health so much that sometimes pointing it out would be a mute point.

However, it is known that it can decrease blood pressure and improve breathing among other physical changes that occurs inside the body. It is actually a combination of various changes that can significantly improve health over time. Most of these changes are often small and they are sometimes negligible but eventually these changes will stack up and result to bigger health benefits.

Genuine laughter is still best when it comes to keeping your younger looks compared to a lot of products that are released in the market today. Plus, it is definitely good for your heart.

Smile and Laugh!
